1983 G&L Nighthawk - w/original hardshell case

Yowza! Check out this extremely clean 1983 G&L Nighthawk in gorgeous gloss black over Alder. This thing sounds amazing. Unlike traditional "tone" controls, it has the cool passive EQ-style control layout, so each tone knob is more like a Bass and Treble. Super handy. As mentioned, this one is very clean for almost 40 years old. A little bit of buckle rash on the back, and a few small dings on the front, but hardly photographable. Frets are excellent, and it plays very smooth. This instrument was luthier-owned, so has been setup to play, and play she does! Includes the clean, original hardshell case with one latch that doesn't stick. Owner has also included a couple alternate control cavity plates (original black, as well as a chrome one) so the next lucky owner can dress it up accordingly!
