1964 Guild Starfire II w/Epiphone HSC

In the shop we have this beautifully aged, Good+ vintage condition 1964 Guild Starfire II w/Epiphone HSC, and boy, it sure is a sweet vintage hollowbody. This guitar was made in Hoboken, New Jersey. Sporting two original HB-1 humbuckers, as well as a mahogany neck and body, this guitar doesn't shy away from being a rock machine. The Guild humbuckers were new at the time of this guitar's debut and have become highly sought after The guitar comes with the original pickguard, although we do not currently have the parts to mount it properly. Non-original bridge, but tuners are likely original. Frets are original, and quite low, but level and it is a joy to play.

In terms of condition this guitar has a fantastic patina. It has been well loved but doesn't seem to have sustained any major structural damage, just cosmetic. Most notably, a previous owner got playful with their strap button position, leaving a hole above the heel of the neck and bass side horn (photographed). It also looks like the back of the guitar may have had some sort of "buckle guard" adhered to it at some point. No holes, just a distinct outline.

Overall a killer player that's looking for a new home!

This guitar comes with an Epiphone harshell case.

Please note: this is a consignment item and is sold as-is, no returns.
