1973 Martin D35S - w/OHSC, case candy

Here we have this beautiful, one-owner 1973 Martin D35S w/OHSC, case candy. When we first encountered this instrument, the pick guard had shrunk considerably, causing the top wood near the bridge to crack. Thankfully, it was more than savable. This guitar has been professionally repaired and set up by Danny Corwin at Corwin Guitars in Topeka, Kansas. Since this was made in 1973, the unique three piece back and sides are made out of Indian Rosewood rather than Brazilian. The "S" in the title stands for "slotted" in regards to the headstock of the guitar. It also features a sitka spruce top and mahogany neck, giving this vintage guitar a warm sound. Plus, the slope shoulder body style looks too classy! This one does have a pretty wide neck, more like a classical guitar - great for big-handed fingerstyle players!

The guitar also comes with the original baby blue Martin hardshell case and case candy. In terms of condition, this guitar looks great overall. Aside from the pro repair, there is no major dings or playwear.

Please note: this is a consignment item and is sold as-is, no returns.
