We've been free-fallin' in love with this 1991 Rickenbacker 660-12 Tom Petty Limited Edition every since it graced us with its presence. Here in Excellent vintage condition, this now 30 year old guitar is in great cosmetic shape. You'll find pictured the most notable cosmetic flaws - a small scratch on the lower bout, a longer (but hard to capture) scratch right below the pickguard and some slight lacquer age/wood shrinkage at the bass-side headstock wing seam. Other than that, and the expected lacquer slightly "sagging" into the birdseye (again, nearly impossible to see unless held under the right light), this one is definitely collector clean. The original hardshell case (in Very Good cosmetic condition with a few scuffs - pictured) as well as the COA, Rik marketing materials, Rik swag bag and a few other case candy items are also included.
As for sound and playability, this one offers everything you'd expect from a 600 series Rickenbacker - plus the glorious 12-string tones, plus the beauty of a nicely aged Birdseye Maple body AND neck. We could go on and on.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a consignment item and is sold as-is, no returns.
Here's Reverb's description with specs:
