This American-made 1997 Fender Lonestar Strat is a wicked cool guitar. Featuring the HSS setup with a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates in the bridge and two Texas Special single coils in the middle and neck, it allows for a number of different tonal combinations, all of them rad! Too bad this was such a short-lived series (American Hot Rod series, I believe.) This one is in Very Good condition - would rate as Excellent, but there is one bit of cracked finish near the input jack (pictured), but that's really it. Frets show very little ware, hardly any dings and just a great/pretty/versatile guitar all around. Ships in the original hardshell case.
Here's what Fender has to say:
"Fender's Lonestar Strat offers players classic Fender looks and tones but the added versatility of a humbucker. Great for blues and hard rock, the Lonestar has been the choice of many players. The American Lonestars were discontinued years ago and have been popular among musicians. Not to be confused with the recent imported guitars, this Lonestar is 100% Made in the USA. Great American made quality and specs. The body is alder for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. A factory Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker teams up with a hot Texas Special single coil in the middle and neck for a variety of sounds. A 2 point trem offers smooth whammy action while sealed tuners keep it rock solid."
