This 2003 Gretsch 6072 Broadkaster hollow body bass just oozes cool. Here in Very Good condition and in perfect working order, this is a prime example of a MIJ, rare Gretsch bass. It features a long scale, two Filter'Tron humbucker pickups and a full 17" lower bout width, offering big sound and nice warmth - especially with the installed flatwound strings. This one has been pro setup as well, so it plays clean up and down the neck. Hardly any fretwear, the only real noticeable cosmetic imperfections are some wear on the banjo back, a few smudges and a pin-point size ding on the headstock. Ships in the original hardshell case!
Here's what Gretsch has to say:
The maple neck has a C shape with lots of shoulder, and while the profile measures a more slender .830" deep at the 1st fret, the profile carve fills out to 1.015" at the 12th. The nut is a slender 1 1/2" in width, and the headstock is fitted with original gold-plated Schaller style tuners.
On the body, the electronics feature a three-way pickup selector switch, three-way Tone toggle (bypassed in the middle), individual Volume knobs for each pickup, and a Master Volume on the treble-side body cutaway. A mute switch on the lower bout rounds out the control compliment.
