We had never heard of this builder until we purchased it as part of a collection from Josh Scott, founder of JHS Pedals, who, in addition to building a rad pedal empire, also seems to have the ability to sniff out the most rad offsets - like this Scero Maestro MkII. Here in a heavily relic-ed Firemist finish on Spanish Cedar, this one plays like a dream - worn in all the right places - and sounds great with a trifecta of Lollar Gold Foil pickups and stable-as-heck Mastery trem/bridge. The maple neck feels a smidge beefier than a standard Fender C neck shape, but not unwieldy at all. Just a really cool guitar, and includes a really cool Mother Mary floral gigbag.
Here's what Scero has to say:
Scero Guitars took inspiration from their Maestro model, and made it their own. With a redesigned body shape, more comfortable high fret access, and other features, the Maestro MKII is Scero’s version of an offset that you’ll love and enjoy the feel and sound of playing!
