Boy, it doesn't get much cooler than this MIJ Charvel Surfcaster from 1993. Stellar player, great tones and the looks is too cool. A pair of lipstick pickups combined with the semi-hollow body BUT with a shreddy neck just seems to work. I REALLY like this guitar. The tremolo is ultra smooth, and combined with the Schaller (?) roller nut, it holds tune like champ. The nut was a tiny bit low on the treble side, so we did put a super thin Mahogany shim under the high E to get it to ring true. This one is in Very Good+ vintage condition - a few dings and some hardware tarnish, but overall, pretty darn clean. Electronics all function as they should and sound right, EXCEPT the push-pull tone pot - it adjusts tone fine, but doesn't do anything when pull is engaged. Can't recall if this was a series/parallel deal, or what, but is likely an easy fix if someone wants to dig in! The original owner once had a set of Kent Armstrong pickups installed (the only ones that fit right, apparently) and those are INCLUDED with the sale if you want to switch things up a bit. Includes the original branded plastic molded hardshell case in Good condition with a wee bit of "old case smell". No smoke or pet, just old case. What a rad and rare-ish guitar, all around. Someone will be pleased.
