Fender Stratocaster STB-67 - MIJ, w/gigbag, 1996 50th Anniversary

We are huge fans of Fender's MIJ line from all eras, but especially the mid 90s. And this 1996 Fender Stratocaster STB-67 is just one more feather in that cap. First off, this guitar is EXTREMELY light at a mere 6 pounds 10 ounces. Very comfy to play. Second - it sounds and plays great. Setup low, it welcomes you to fly around the neck and the pickups (which we suspect are all original) have all the Strat quack you'd expect. Super fun guitar all around. This one does show some play wear, appropriate for its 30 year age, but no breaks or repairs. Nicks and dings throughout, some through the finish - the worst ones are pictured. Neck, fretboard and frets are clean. Includes a Fender gigbag with functioning zippers, but the zipper "tabs" are broken off and replaced with paper clips that you can grip. All in all, a great (vintage??) 50th Anniversary year Japanese Fender Strat.
