Gibson SG Standard - Vintage 1969 w/newer HSC

Rad guitar alert! Check out this player's-grade vintage 1969 Gibson SG Standard. As soon as you pick this one up, you know it's a good one. Plays clean up and down the neck, sounds great and looks the part with 50 some years of rock patina. We're rating this one Good vintage condition, which is probably conservative as this one will require nothing from the new owner, assuming they want to PLAY it. This one is all original electronics and hardware. Two original witch hat knobs and two Guild knobs. Missing the truss rod cover. Frets are lower ad flat, but are level with no obvious buzzing or dead spots. My favorite thing about this one is that the tremolo actually functions very smooth and returns to pitch pretty good. Thanks to the infamous nylon saddles, maybe???  Very usable. The original T-top (Patent number 2.737.842) are fantastic, especially the neck position clean. This one shows plenty of wear throughout - checking, nicks, dings and the like - most notably, the body was cracked and repaired (pro job by Mass Street Music). The input jack has a non-original oversized washer. Tuners work and hold tune pretty good for their age, but please note, the D string tuner is slightly bent. VERY chunky neck - especially up around the 9th fret and above. Takes a little getting used to, especially with the ultra-narrow late 60s Gibson nut width, combined with the super chunky depth in the upper registers. Though I wouldn't like it, but then was like... I do. I really do.  This one includes a newer brown Gibson case with pink lining. Great chance to save some $$ on a guitar that begs to be played, and one you won't want to put down.
