Kramer F-6000 - Vintage 1980s, refin, recent fret dress
UPDATE: This one actually appears to be Fluorescent Yellow under the Olive Green refin! Rare and very cool, but please note - we tried solvents under the pickups to see if we could get through the Olive, and NO LUCK. Will you have better luck? I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't count on it. Looks like heat and scraping is the only way, and I can't imagine that going very smoothly :(
Anyway - Holy rad guitar! Check out this '80s Kramer Focus F-6000 in refinished Olive/Army Green gloss. Not a bad refin - some slight orange peal quality when looking close, but hard to notice otherwise. Was covered in stickers when received, so there are some slight marks on the gloss where sticker was peeled. This one had some high frets, so we gave it a full fret dress and it's playing pretty slick now. All original hardware (OG Floyd Rose) and pickups - including the coil split on the bridge, which sounds great. Please note: no back plate or tremolo arm. Comfy neck, and really, pretty clean all around if you take into account the refin. Looks to have been white under the refin as per one small ding. VERY tempted to strip the top layer, but we'll leave that for the next owner! Includes a rough, but functional generic hardshell case that will protect for transport, but will likely need to be replaced if traveling much.
