MJT Strat - Graffiti Yellow, Babicz bridge, Dawgtown pickups
Check out this stellar MJT Strat in Graffiti Yellow, featuring a Babicz bridge and Dawgtown pickups. Finished in one of our favorite colors, this factory relic job gives this guitar the vintage vibe with modern parts. The guitar has been kitted out with a Babicz 6-point bridge and wired with a set of custom made Dogtown pickups. The neck and middle pickup offer you the classic strat tones, while the bridge sends you straight into rock n' roll territory. Both singles rate at about 6k ohms while the bridge sits around 7.6k ohms. Through an amp with some gain, this thing kills.
The neck has also been aged. To our eyes, we'd consider this medium to heavy aging. Most players will notice the difference in feel, especially when comparing it to a brand new neck. Although, we think that this is a good functional choice, as well an aesthetic one. Most of the wear falls between the 2nd to 8th frets with smaller bit of finishing worn away sparingly beyond that region.
This guitar was Plek'd by our friends down at Mass Street Music here in Lawrence, Kansas and was further assembled by Danny Corwin, of Corwin Guitar Company. We believe the original owner had this set up with an Ernie Ball 9.5 Primo Slinky set, giving a tad more fight than your typical set of 9's. Overall, this strat build is well spec'd instrument that is insanely comfortable to play. No case or gigbag, but we have some availalable if needed!
Please note: this is a consignment item and is sold as-is, no returns.
