Martin HD-28 - 2001, w/OHSC

Here's a wonderful players Martin HD-28 from 2001. Plays smooth with medium Martin-spec action and sounds great. This one has seen some play time over the later 25 years and has the cosmetic signs of play wear to prove it, but nothing rediculous. We're rating it a conservative Good+ condition - no breaks or major repairs and doesn't need any big repairs. We did bring the saddle down a bit to lower the action when we put new Martin Eric Clapton 13s on it. We also had the back binding re-glued at the waist, as this one did/does have the typical binding shrinkage associated with Martins. Pro job, feels smooth and isn't particularly noticeable. The neck joint is secure, showing only the slightest gap at the heel - could barely slip a receipt paper in it. Includes the original Martin plastic-molded hardshell case, in equally good condition. Great deal on a great player!
