This Michigan-era Naylor Electra-Verb 38 1x12 combo is the amp that sold me on all things Naylor. Some of the best tones I've ever heard out of an amp, especially the overdrive. This is one of two Naylors I have for sale at the moment, and they both sound just killer. The addition of spring reverb on this one and no Presence knob are really the biggest thing that separate this from the bigger SD60 we have, and its brother-from-another-mother, the Naylor SuperClub 38 - which we wish we had:) Often described as, "the best Marshall tone I've ever heard", this 38-watt, all tube combo runs two 5881 Output and 12AX7WB Pre-amp & Effects Loop tubes. It's a single channel design, but don't let that fool you into thinking it's a one-trick-pony. The Dual Stage Gain Control adjusts two stages of gain simultaneously, for the smoothest, most gradual transition between clean, overdriven and heavily distorted settings, and it has two inputs - a low and a high - so you can nail some pretty amazing cleans as well.
Amp controls include Master, Gain, Bite, Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble and Reverb level. Get this amp. You'll be glad you did.
