Reverend PA-1 Pete Anderson semi-hollow - w/OHSC

Ooof. Check out this Excellent condition Reverend PA-1 Pete Anderson semi-hollow, including the super clean original hardshell case. They don't make this model for Pete anymore, and it's a shame. Don't get me wrong, his Tele signature is a treat as well, but this one is an absolute blast. Sounds great, plays great and is just a dang WORKHORSE, like all Reverend guitars. I love the satin finish - lets the instrument breath in our opinion - and little things, like stock locking tuners are what really set these apart. This one is very clean, only showing a stray smudge here and there that got missed in the pre-photo wipedown. Weight is a very comfy 7 pounds 7 ounces.
Here's a nice, in-depth writeup from Sweetwater on this no-longer-made model:

As Sweetwater guitarists will attest, one look at the Reverend Pete Anderson PA-1 is all it takes for instant fireworks. This axe's namesake, Pete Anderson, has been a force in country music for decades, lighting up the stage and studio as a guitarist, producer, and musical director for Dwight Yoakam, Tanya Tucker, Michelle Shocked, and many more. Take this hollowbody to the limit and you’ll dive into some beastly feedback tamed by Reverend's innovative Uni-Brace. Dial back the two onboard P-90-style pickups a notch and swim through tones ripe for rhythm and jeweled for jazzy solos. Employ the Bigsby B-70 tremolo and add an array of dazzling sonic textures. And of course, the Reverend Pete Anderson PA-1 packs plenty of classic country twang!

Sensational build quality

Built with laminated maple back and sides topped with spruce and braced with a Uni-Brace, this hollowbody hits devoid of feedback and with a resonance you can feel. And the smooth, easy-playing rosewood fingerboard combined with a sturdy 3-piece korina neck will keep your fretting hand glued to the fretboard. A Bigsby B-70 rounds out your tonal capabilities with a tantalizing tremolo that stays in tune even through the toughest gigs. Complete with a Soft Touch spring, this Bigsby takes strings like nobody’s business. There’s no doubt about it, the Pete Anderson PA-1 brings epic retro design to the modern era with fantastic build quality and stunningly attractive features.

Proprietary pickups offer twang’tastic tones

Reverend’s guitars are like no other — with pickups designed in house, you’ll dominate the scene with tones all your own. The Pete Anderson PA-1 flourishes with a wealth of tones from sweet and subtle to rock and thick twang. Just take its 9A5 pickups for a dance and you’ll see for yourself. With the addition of a bass contour knob, tightening up the low end and re-voicing the pickups become all too easy. These P-90’s have a voice of their own and with classic Reverend appointments like a treble bleed circuit, a Pure Tone jack, and 10% pots and poly caps, you’ll find yourself holding a boutique-quality guitar that stands toe to toe with the best of 'em.
