Calling all John Lennon fans - check out this super vibey Vintage 1967 Gibson J160E, made famous by the man himself, and many others. This one features the later model specs, such as a laminate top, helping to quell any unwanted feedback that seemed to plague the earlier solid top variations of this instrument. We're rating this one in Good+ vintage condition - it shows its fair share of dings, scratches, lacquer checking, etc. Structurally, this one appears to be sound with the faintest back crack right under the heel (pictured), which fortunately runs right along the middle brace of the guitar, meaning is shouldn't get any worse. It also means we can't evaluate it to determine whether it goes all the way through or not, so it might be a non-issue anyways! The action is very comfortable on this one, too, leading us to wonder if it did have a neck reset at some point (which would be a good thing - this model is known to need one to be play at its best). This one has all original hardware and electronics, too, which sound great. Serial number dates this one to 1967, and there is a "2" under the serial, indicating this was a factory "2nd".  Includes a hardshell case, likely not original, and in rough condition (scuffs, tape on it), but does the job!

PLEASE NOTE: This is consignment item and is sold as-is, no returns.
