Vintage '60s Hopf Telstar Standard

It doesn't get much cooler than this Vintage '60s Hopf Telstar Standard. Nels Cline and Thurston Moore both have made use of this funky German model throughout their careers, and one can see why as soon as you pick it up. It's light as all get out, sounds really good with its slightly microphonic pair of single coil pickups and versatile switching, and it plays great thanks to a pro setup from our in-house luthier. Plus, it boasts the longest amount of string-behind-the-bridge we've ever seen, making it a killer noise-making addition to any project. This one is in Very Good vintage condition for its age. The green finish has faded considerably and there are dings/checking throughout. Also, it is missing the trem arm (a 60s Schaller variation), has a chipped nut on the high E string (still holds string fine - and the zero fret takes any nut issues out of the equation) and has a slightly bent tuner on the high E string. Includes a non-original gig bag.
