Wendler ElectroCoustic bass guitar - shortscale, w/Epi HSC
Here's a special one - a custom-built Wendler ElectroCoustic bass guitar, built by Kansas City-area luthier, Dave Wendler, of MagniPi fame - his patented piezo/magnet pickup system. This one is too cool - exceptionally light, being made of Western Cedar and the deep concave on the back - weighing in at a mere 5 pounds 3 ounces. Also, this one is FRETTED - many of his bass builds were of the fretless variety, so this one is even more rare in that respect. Gorgeous, slightly glossy violin burst finish - and very clean, showing a few light dings here and there (soft wood) but nothing crazy. Neck and frets are clean and its setup with flats, which are an absolute joy. Pickup system sounds superb - a little scratchy in the pots, but it's working itself out. Includes an Epiphone hardshell case.
